The Maradona sold out ahead of Napoli’s trip to Udinese

Napoli visit the Dacia Arena later today in an attempt to seal the third Scudetto in their history but it is the Maradona which has been sold out.

Il Mattino state that the gates of the Maradona will be open from 6pm today, as giant screens will be placed at the corners of the stadium so that fans at the Maradona can watch Napoli’s clash against Udinese, which will start at 20:45 local time in Udine.

The Napoli squad will return to Naples tomorrow to meet the fans and have a celebration, if they end up getting atleast a point from the clash against Andrea Sottil’s side today.

Lazio’s win over Sassuolo yesterday meant that they delayed Scudetto celebrations for a day but getting a point against Udinese guarantees Napoli the title. They were denied the title win late against Salernitana, as Boulaye Dia had scored a brilliant screamer to equalise after Mathias Olivera had opened the scoring.
