We only have a few hours to go before the world witnesses a thrilling Milan Euroderby in the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2002-03 at the San Siro.

Milan will aim to recreate the memories of the 2002-03 Champions League season when they disposed of neighbourhood rivals Inter in the semi-finals to defeat Juventus in the final and ultimately clinched the much-coveted trophy. The Rossoneri are on a run of nine unbeaten games in a row. Still, they haven’t been able to muster a considerable winning run during the course of the season, owing to a lack of consistency in trying to balance their efforts both in the league and the Champions League. Following their win against Lazio to put them back in contention for a top-four finish, Stefano Pioli’s men are inspired enough to end their season on a high finally.

Meanwhile, Inter approach this match on the back of a resounding 2-0 win over fellow top-four contenders Roma in their last game. The Nerazzurri are in fabulous form recently as they have scored 18 goals in their previous six matches across all competitions. A winning run of five consecutive games in the Serie A has put them in pole position to grab Champions League qualification for next season, it was also during this run, they surpassed tonight’s opponents Milan in the league standings.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Sky Italia:

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Krunic, Tonali; Brahim Diaz, Bennacer, Saelemaekers; Giroud

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro Martinez
