BREAKING: Thiago Silva breaks Chelsea contract; Fluminense president Bittencourt; What happened?

Well this is not to say that Thiago Silva have broken his Chelsea contract but the fact that Fluminense president Bittencourt is looking and hoping he breaks hisn contract is something to really look into.

The 38 year-old has a deal to 2024, though Bittencourt has hopes he will break his contract much like Marcelo did with Olympiakos to sign with Flu.

Bittencourt said on the Cheguei podcast: “He never hid the desire to return, but he never said he would be back soon. He said he wanted to stay in Europe to play in the World Cup and he did.

“We said we would like him to come this year. And he was honest, that he would renew the contract until mid-2024. What can happen in the middle of the road, which depends much more on him than on us, which is what happened with Marcelo.

“He was already closed for the middle of the year, he called and said he would break the contract and came back.”
