Arsenal continue their effort to reclaim top spot in the Premier League when they host Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners have slipped behind Manchester City in the title race and could be four points adrift of their rivals, who play Everton on the same day, by the time they kick off in north London.

They face a Brighton side looking for fresh impetus after a dreadful 5-1 defeat to Everton on Monday.

Here’s what you need to know about the game.

Key first team stars William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been ruled out of Arsenal’s remaining three league games, leaving Jakub Kiwior and Kieran Tierney in the middle and on the left of their defence.

Jorginho has impressed in place of Thomas Partey in recent weeks, assisting Martin Odegaard’s strike at Newcastle last weekend, and could continue alongside the Norwegian and Granit Xhaka in Mikel Arteta’s midfield.

Arsenal predicted lineup (4-3-3): Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Tierney; Odegaard, Jorginho, Xhaka; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.

Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi may ring the changes after the heavy defeat to Everton. Levi Colwill could start in place of Adam Webster alongside Lewis Dunk, while Moises Caicedo and Pascal Gross may swap positions.

Solly March may not recover from the knock he took as a substitute on Monday night, while Deniz Undav will likely drop out of the starting XI with Julio Enciso and Facundo Buonanotte primed to take over.

Brighton predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Steele; Caicedo, Dunk, Colwill, Estupinan; Gross, Mac Allister; Buonanotte, Enciso, Mitoma; Ferguson.

Arsenal have been rocked by injuries to key players in defence but have at least refound some form after relinquishing top spot in the Premier League to Manchester City.

The Gunners were strong and determined in their 2-0 win at Newcastle and show no signs of giving up just yet. This clash with Europe-chasing Brighton could be one of the most entertaining games of the season.

The Seagulls have the fourth-best away record in the Premier League this season and definitely can harm Arteta’s side, but fatigue looks an issue and Arsenal may secure a slim victory in a high-scoring fixture.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-2 Brighton
