Chelsea board apologises to Tuchel, admits they made a mistake sacking him; Here is what they said

Chelsea’s owners regret the sacking of manager Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel was dismissed in September and eventually replaced by Graham Potter, who has since also been sacked.

The Daily Mail says while Tuchel was never going to be a long-term option, Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali accept it would’ve been better if the German had stayed in charge for the season. Tuchel has since taken charge of Bayern Munich.

Chelsea’s board now accept sacking Tuchel was a mistake.

The Blues currently sit 11th on the Premier League table with caretaker manager Frank Lampard at the helm.
