As Ligue 1 side Lille draw up their summer transfer window plans, a number of objectives have already been set.
This includes the sale of Canadian international Jonathan David. Whilst they are currently without concrete proposals for the 23-year-old, the player has made it clear that he will seek to move on from LOSC this summer and Les Dogues expect to receive interest in the attacker over the crows of the summer, with him having achieved 25 goal involvements (goals + assists) so far in Ligue 1 this season.
As they prepare for this as an eventuality, Lille have been busy seeking to line up possible replacements for David and the attacker that is at the top of their list, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News, is Gent’s 20-year-old forward Gift Orban.
Orban, who arrived in Belgium in January and has achieved a phenomenal 19 goals and 2 assists in 19 games in all competitions for the Pro League side, has attracted immense attention from scouts.
According to Sports Zone, Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, Benfica, Inter Milan and RC Lens have also been sending representatives to watch the player on a regular basis.
