Sampdoria, who have been relegated from Serie A already, aren’t in a good spot financially and Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is in talks to buy the club.
Sky Italia have reported that Radrizzani is keen on making sure that he saves Samp from bankruptcy and he arrived at the Bogliasco sports centre earlier today. Alberto Bosco, one of the members of the current board of directors, met him there and an offer from the Leeds owner can be made soon.
Radrizzani was accompanied by Matteo Manfredi, with the support of Jordan Rocca, a young Genoese entrepreneur who lives in London and has always been a huge fan of Sampdoria. The trio has already worked to find agreements with the creditor banks and they have a sporting and not just a financial recovery plan.
Entrepreneur Alessandro Barnaba has already made an offer and it is still standing. Manfredi and Radrizzani were at the sports centre for an hour. Secolo XIX state that later today, Radrizzani will also visit Luigi Ferraris, the club’s current home stadium.
