This Wednesday saw the Paris Saint-Germain squad train away from the club’s training ground, the Camps des Loges, instead setting up at the Parc des Princes for the club foundation’s Children’s Day.
As pointed out by L’Équipe, the session – in front of thousands of young fans – notably saw long-term absentees in Neymar, Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele and Nuno Mendes make an appearance on the pitch. Neither of the four took part in the training session – given they are all recovering from serious injuries – but they did go meet with the groups of children in the stands and sign autographs.
Earlier in the afternoon, several events had taken place on the pitch for the 6,000 children who benefit from the foundation, with the Children’s Day celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi, who were both absent from yesterday’s training for unknown reasons, were present today.
