Paris Saint-Germain will win a second succesive Ligue 1 title if they avoid defeat at Strasbourg this weekend.

France’s reigning champions sit six points clear of Lens at the top of the table with just two games remaining.

In their way on the penultimate matchday of the season are Strasbourg, who are six points above the relegation zone – comprised of four teams – having won three and drawn one of their last five games.

Here’s the lowdown on this Ligue 1 fixture.

Centre-back Alexander Djiku was sent off in Strasbourg’s 1-1 draw at Troyes, so Frederic Antonetti could deploy Gerzino Nyamsi – who came on as a substitute – in central defence.

Saturday’s hosts will also have to make do without Thomas Delaine, Eji Kawashima and Eduard Sobol.

Strasbourg predicted lineup (3-4-2-1): Sels; Perrin, Nyamsi, Le Marchand; Doukoure, Sissoko, Sanson, Guilbert; Diarra, Bellegarde; Diallo.

A number of PSG first team stars were absent from training on Tuesday after being given time off following Sunday’s win over Auxerre. Neither Lionel Messi nor Kylian Mbappe were present, while Marco Verratti – who has been nursing a knee problem of late – was also missing.

The forward duo should be available from the off, though Achraf Hakimi is suspended and unavailable alongside the injured Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes, Neymar and Nordi Mukiele.

PSG predicted lineup (3-5-2): Donnarumma; Marquinhos, Ramos, Pereira; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Verratti, Ruiz, Bernat; Messi, Mbappe.

A point is all PSG need to wrap up their 11th Ligue 1 title and they appear to have found their groove again after consecutive defeats to Rennes and Lyon either side of March’s international break.

However, recent wins haven’t been without issues and Strasbourg should have confidence in breaking down the visitors’ at times lax defending.

Such quality in attack regularly makes PSG favourites in Ligue 1 matches and that’s the case again here, though a complacent loss would officially take the title race to the final day.

Prediction: Strasbourg 1-2 PSG
