Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti is set to skip his usual pre-match press conference tomorrow, prompting more speculation about his future. The Tuscan tactician has been the subject of a number of recent reports in the Italian press, all suggesting that his time with the Partenopei is set to come to an end this summer.

He recently secured Napoli their first title in 33 years, his first in Serie A, prompting club president Aurelio De Laurentiis to trigger an option in his contract to extend his deal by another year. Reports claim Spalletti was not consulted before the contract extension, leading to a breakdown in relations between the coach and president.

Neapolitan outlet Radio Kiss Kiss report that tomorrow, there won’t be the usual press conference with Spalletti, ahead of Napoli’s game against Bologna.
