Juventus were at their clinical best, beating a plucky Lazio side 3-1 with goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.

Juventus

Szczesny: Brilliant save in the first half at 1-0. Hard to fault him on the Lazio goal, otherwisde very good. 6.5/10

Gatti: Very alert to the Lazio threat, good positioning. Pushed forward at times, impressive. 6.5/10

Bremer: Made it tricky after picking up a first-half booking, but solid in general. 6.5/10

Danilo: Led by example at the back, very quick to snuff out the Lazio attack. 6.5/10

McKennie: One of his better recent performances, very pacy on the flank, getting wide to stretch the play and played a part in the second goal. 7.0/10

Miretti: Really direct at times, very composed in bringing the ball forward. A solid shift. 6.0/10

Locatelli: Picked up from his last match with the Azzurri, excellent play in the centre of the pitch, setting up the second Juve goal. 6.5/10

Rabiot: Assisted the opener and put in a great shift overall, should have scored the third goal, but for some Provodel heroics. 7.0/10

Kostic: Much better than in recent matches, pushed forward when he could, good linkup with Vlahovic, even better at the back where he snuffed out some chances 6.0/10

Vlahovic: Clinical strike for the opener, excellent work overall in the first half before netting a second with a clinical finish. An outstanding display. 8.5/10

Chiesa: A lovely finish for the Juventus second, his pace and positional play was a constant threat. 7.5/10

Substitutions:

Fagioli: 5.5/10

Cambiaso: 5.5/10

Weah: 5.5/10

Milik: N/A

Kean: N/A

Lazio

Provodel: Might have done better on at least one of the Juve goals but did a great job to deny Rabiot twice in quick succession. 6.0/10

Marusic: Never really got into the game, had problems with the Juve attack being so direct down the left. 5.0/10

Casale: Struggled massively against the movement of the Juve attacking duo. 5.0/10

Romagnoli: A very muddling display, found himself in a physical battle at times that he couldn’t match. 5.5/10

Hysaj: Very poor, offered very little. 5.0/10

Kamada: Impressive at times, had a good cutback that Immobile should have done better with. 6.0/10

Cataldi: Somewhat flat, never really got a foot in the game, rightfully subbed out. 5.0/10

Alberto: The best of the Lazio midfield trio – create and intelligent play, always looking to create space. Got one back for the Biancocelesti with an excellent solo finish. 7.0/10

Anderson: Lively down the right, just lacking that one key touch. 5.5/10

Immobile: Had some excellent chances, only to be denied by a resolute Juve back line 6.0/10

Zaccagni: Fluffed his lines when all he had to do was tap into the net. Forced a good save from Szczesny later in the match 5.5/10

Substitutions:

Pellegrini: 5.5/10

Rovella: 5.5/10

Castellanos: 5.5/10

Pedro: 5.5/10
