Tommaso Pobega expected to start for Milan against Newcastle United

Italian midfielder Tommaso Pobega is currently expected to start for Milan in their upcoming Champions League clash against Newcastle United.

The Rossoneri have to get back to winning ways after a 5-1 hammering at the hands of Inter and Luca Bianchin reports that Stefano Pioli is expecting to make a couple of changes to the side, apart from the fact that Fikayo Tomori will return to the side and replace Simon Kjaer.

Surprisingly enough, Tijjani Reijnders is expected to be replaced by Pobega as Pioli wants to hand some rest to the Dutchman. Samuel Chukwueze will also take the place of Christian Pulisic, who is also being saved from some tiredness. But the likelihood is that both Pulisic and Reijnders will come in during the second half.

While Yunus Musah remains an option for Pioli as a replacement for Reijnders but the American is currently seen as an alternative to Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
