Milan are keeping tabs on the possibility of landing Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino, who is currently on loan at Championship club Swansea City.
Daniele Longo has reported that Milan remain keen on signing younger players, as they want to stick to a multi-year plan to compete at the highest level. Patino is on the club’s shortlist, with the midfielder currently doing well in his loan stint at Swansea, having racked up four assists so far in the Championship.
Milan would need at least €25 million to sign Patino and he could become a concrete target, especially if their attempts to hand Rade Krunic a new contract do not work out. The Rossoneri are aware of the fact that signing Patino would not be an easy task, largely because of the riches of the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Milan have kept contacts alive for Schalke’s Assan Ouédraogo, with the Rossoneri looking at the possibility of whether the youngster can be signed for a fee which is lower than the €20 million release clause.
