Serie A side Milan are negotiating with Zlatan Ibrahimovic to return to the club as a member of the coaching department.
According to a report by Marco Fallisi of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the CEO of RedBird Capital Gerry Cardinale has been in constant talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a potential homecoming for the club legend and a return to the Rossoneri is close for the Swede.
Club CEO Giorgio Furlani has put complete faith in manager Stefano Pioli for leading Milan’s performances with big-name signings like Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze and a few more this summer. The club management hopes to add Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a partner of Pioli soon as it will provide the team with the right leadership impetus.
The 42-year-old was well-loved by the present group of players before he retired from football last season. He was seen as an able leader wherever he went throughout his lucrative career and he will certainly be a crucial asset for the Serie A side if he joins them as one of the coaching staff.
