A major cloud of doubt has casted over the future of French tactician Rudi Garcia following Napoli‘s devastating 1-0 defeat to Empoli on home soil, resulting in club president Aurelio De Laurentiis to majorly assess the situation.
As per Radio Kiss Kiss, via CalcioNapoli24, De Laurentiis has entered deep reflections regarding Garcia’s status at the club following the frustrating scenes at the Diego Maradonna stadium as the Partenopei were stunned by Viktor Kovalenko’s last-gasp winner, which led to De Laurentiis storming out of his seat.
Whilst Napoli currently sit in fourth with a total of 21 points as they endured three defeats thus far, only one less than the entirety of last year’s term after 12 games-played this season, the Partenopei are prepared to enter new contacts with Igor Tudor as they consider the former Marseille coach as the primary candidate as per journalist Marco Conterio.
In addition, Sky Sports Italia reveals that former Inter and Juventus coach Antonio Conte is very much a possibility to takeover at the helm of the club in the case that De Laurentiis ultimately decides to relieve Garcia from his duties.
